The Vows:
Marriage is a bond to be entered into only after
considerable thought and reflection. As with any aspect of
life, it has its cycles, its ups and its downs, its trials
and its triumphs. With full understanding of this, Dean
and Tammy have come here today to be joined as one in
marriage.
Dean and Tammy, above you are the stars and below you is
the earth. Like the stars, your love shall be a constant
source of light and like the earth a firm foundation from
which to grow. Let your intellect guide you in your
actions, the strength of your will bind you together, and
the power of your love make you inseparable. As the grass
in the field and the trees of the wood bend together under
the pressures of the wind, so must you too learn to bend
when the storms come. And know that as quickly as they
come equally so will they leave.
Dean, I have not the right to bind you to Tammy, only you
have this right. If it be your wish, say so at this time
and place your ring in her hand. (It is my wish.)
In the name of the spirit of God that resides within us
all, by the life that courses within your blood and the
love that resides within your heart, please repeat the
vows of your love and commitment to Tammy after me,
I Dean, take you Tammy,
to my hand, my heart, and my spirit,
to be my chosen one.
To desire and be desired by you,
to possess and be possessed by you.
I promise to love
wholly and completely
without restraint,
in life and beyond,
where we shall meet,
remember, and love again.
I shall not seek to change you in any way.
Tammy, if it is your wish for Dean to be bound to you,
place the ring, a forever symbol of his love and his
commitment, on his finger. (places ring on Dean’s finger)
Tammy, I have not the right to bind you to Dean, only you
have this right. If it be your wish, say so at this time
and place your ring in his hand. (It is my wish.)

place the ring, a forever symbol of her love and
commitment, on her finger. (places ring on Tammy’s finger)
Dean and Tammy, please join hands.
Each of these cords represent one of seven promises I am
about to ask Dean and Tammy to make to one another..
The ties will cross the years and the promises will
strengthen their union.
However the binding will be tied loosely, so that neither
is the binding is only enforced by both their wills.
Dean and Tammy,
Will you Honor and respect each other and seek to never
give cause to break that honor?

love and trust. May you always know great love together.
You may slip off the cords.
Dean and Tammy, may the winds dance between you, fires burn within you, and the waters flow through you, on your sacred journey through life.
It is with great honor and by the power vested in me to pronounce you husband and wife. Friends and family, I introduce to you Mr. & Mrs. Roberts. Dean, you may kiss your bride!
